আবদুল্লাহ ইবনে মাসউদ (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত, রাসুল (সা.) আমাকে বলেন, ‘আমার কাছে কোরআন পাঠ করো।
’ আমি বললাম, আমি আপনার কাছে কোরআন পাঠ করব, অথচ আপনার ওপর কোরআন অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। তিনি বলেন, ‘আমি অন্যের তিলাওয়াত শুনতে পছন্দ করি।’ (বুখারি, হাদিস : ৫০৫৬)
