রাসুলুল্লাহ (সা.) বলেছেন,
"রাতের আহার ত্যাগ করো না
যদিও তা এক মুঠো খেজুরও হয়। কারণ রাতের আহার ত্যাগ মানুষকে বৃদ্ধ করে দেয়"
(ইবনে মাজাহ,হাদিস:৩৩৫৫,তিরমিজি, হাদিস:১৮৫৬)
