Hélène, Zaza and Babette Swan
Discovered beside a dock in Antwerp’s Eilandje harbour district. A swan glides through faded turquoise water, framed by reeds and a pale sun, its image softened by rust, scratches and time.
Turquoise greens, oxidised blues, faded whites and washed-out yellows create a quiet, dreamlike stillness: a romantic landscape weathered by the city.
Translated into our Hélène overshirt in cotton double cloth, Zaza midi skirt in heavy cotton and Babette square headscarf in crêpe de Chine.

In an Antwerp art centre, a deer wanders through charcoal strokes, faded blue-greys and worn, smoky textures. Delicate details dissolve into rougher marks, giving the image a quiet depth somewhere between sketch and shadow. Cracked tiles, frosted glass and faded florals. Found worlds apart, from Sesimbra to Cochin.
Dusty pinks, oxidised blues, faded golds and pale greens meet cracks, reflections and traces of time.
