Today, we say goodbye to Asma.
Asma joined REantwerp with a beautiful knowledge of handwork and embroidery. With her refined eye, her patience and her love for detail, she brought something truly special into our atelier.
At REantwerp, Asma also grew further as a stitcher. Step by step, she refined her technique, discovered new ways of working and gained more and more confidence behind the machine. It was wonderful to see her talents grow — with so much dedication, focus and always with a smile.
Asma was not only a talented maker, but also a warm colleague. Enthusiastic, generous, kind and always ready to help. She brought softness, energy and connection into the atelier.
Now she is ready for a new challenge. We sincerely hope she will soon receive the right papers, so she can start working and take the next step. Because Asma is more than ready to fly.
Thank you, dear Asma, for everything you made, learned and shared with us at REantwerp. We will miss you — but above all, we are so proud of you.

Ruben Block in REantwerp.
A powerful encounter between music, character and clothes with a story. For Triggerfinger, Ruben and the band are wearing pieces from the REantwerp collection: crafted in Antwerp from existing fabrics, reworked into bold, one-of-a-kind silhouettes.

While these are not the pieces he wears on stage, they carry the same REantwerp signature: unexpected combinations, strong contrasts and the hands of the makers behind every garment.

Thank you Ruben for wearing REantwerp with such presence.

A project where fabric becomes a tool for connection, learning and inclusion.

Born from the desire to imagine a fashion industry that is more conscious, sustainable and people-oriented, REantwerp works every day to empower the talent and skills of refugees and new members of the local community, transforming craftsmanship into an opportunity for cultural exchange, personal growth and integration.

Starting from the workshop led by Andrea Cammarosano as part of the Crafting Futures research project at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, the makers of REantwerp shared cultural references, personal experiences and individual perspectives that became the starting point for the work of 47 first-year students. From this dialogue emerged 14 original print proposals, which we had the pleasure of producing and which, once returned to the REantwerp atelier, were selected, combined and transformed into 14 unique shirts.

Each garment tells a collective story shaped by creativity, skills and meaningful encounters. A project that demonstrates how fabric can become a shared language, capable of connecting different backgrounds, cultures and generations.

A heartfelt thank you to REantwerp , the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp , Andrea Cammarosano , , Tom Van der Borght, Chris Fransen, and all the makers and students who contributed to bringing this collaboration to life.

During Antwerp.Fashion Festival, REantwerp transforms the long corridor leading to our atelier into a walking route through makers, materials and future stories.
In an installation of 8 screens, we present short video portraits of the makers in our atelier: who they are, where they come from, what they create at REantwerp, and what they dream of for the future.
Inside the atelier, we also present a series of shirts as the tangible result of a collaboration between creativity and craft. The project started at REantwerp, where our makers explored print and colour through their own cultural and textile references during a workshop with Andrea Cammarosano. Their ideas became the starting point for 47 first-year fashion students, who developed 14 print proposals under the guidance of Tom Van der Borght, Chris Fransen and Andrea Cammarosano.

From 4 to 7 June, REantwerp will take part in Antwerp.Fashion Festival with a programme that brings together stories, craftsmanship and new beginnings.

In the hallway of our atelier, visitors will discover the makers behind REantwerp through a video installation. Inside the atelier, we will present our collaboration with the first-year students of the Fashion Department at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and Gruppocinque Fabrics: 14 shirts shaped by memory, craftsmanship and exchange.

Come by, discover the work, meet the team and celebrate fashion as a force for connection and change.

REantwerp is a social and sustainable fashion atelier and label by Tim Van Steenbergen, Ruth Goossens and GATAM, where newcomers with a textile background rebuild their future through craftsmanship.

Our oversized white dress with long sleeves is designed as a timeless, unisex silhouette — easy to wear, easy to make your own. Shown here in pure white, and in a limited version with a vivid blue screenprint around the neckline.
Wear it closed as a dress, open as a long shirt, layered, belted, loose, minimal or bold. Each version is handmade in our Antwerp atelier from high-quality deadstock fabric, giving leftover materials a new story.

A goodbye, and a thank you.

Over the past months, Rodrigo has been part of our atelier — cutting fabrics, drawing and grading patterns, shaping ideas into form. Precise in his work, but just as present in spirit.
His energy, his humor, his sharp one-liners — they filled the space as much as the garments did. That will be deeply missed.
Rodrigo is now finishing his studies at the Fashion Academy of Sint-Niklaas, where his passion for costume design continues to grow — for theatre, film, and beyond.
Wishing you all the best on what comes next.
Once part of the atelier, always part of the story.
