Beyond The Frame presents ‘Between Here and Elsewhere’. ꩜ A space where identity shifts, memories travel, and nothing is fixed to one place, one story, one meaning.
For this edition, ILA Foundation, FOMU and Het Bos invite four talents who each approach this form of in-betweenness from a distinct perspective, yet share a sensitivity to what moves, lingers and transforms.
+ KAWTAR OUH explores identity and belonging through carefully staged portraits that weave heritage and modernity. Her work reimagines tradition across cultures, questioning what home can mean today.
+ NELLA NGINGO moves between fashion and documentary, approaching photography from both sides of the lens. Rooted in her Burundian heritage, she creates intimate, personal images that offer visibility and tenderness within the African diaspora.
+ TATJANA HUONG HENDERIECKX began photographing at a young age and continues to expand representation through fashion, travel and mentorship. With nuance and care, she challenges stereotypes and opens up new visual narratives.
+ MISTRAL GUIDOTTI works primarily in analogue photography, shifting between spontaneity and composed scenes. Shaped by a love for cinema and imperfection, his images preserve fleeting moments with grain, atmosphere and raw honesty.
Together, they create a dialogue about what it means to be here, while always carrying elsewhere within you.
Join us for the opening expo on 26.03.26 in Het Bos, and the ChitChat & Print Sale on 02.04.26 in FOMU.
