Last week, we invited our nearby neighbours to our Ardooie site for a community meeting.

During the visit, they joined a guided tour of our new Xperience Center and attended an information session about our Ardooie operations. It was an opportunity to share more about our activities and answer questions.

August is a busy month in agriculture, a sector where Sioen solutions offer support every day.

Our After Work Drink brought colleagues together in Ardooie for a relaxed moment at the end of the working week. After six inspiring days at INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hanover, Sioen Fire looks back on a valuable week of connections with firefighters, partners, and industry colleagues, showcasing our latest innovations.

The event brought together around 140 000 visitors from 144 countries. At our stand, we were proud to present our leading firefighter suits and custom protective solutions for teams worldwide.

When Prime Minister Bart De Wever visited Sioen for the opening of our Xperience Center, we prepared a small surprise to take home. Not for him, but for Maximus, his cat.

Our teams created a Sioen hammock and a small survival tent, designed with the same care and textile knowhow that shape so much of what we do.

The gifts have already appeared on social media, with Maximus looking very much at home in his new Sioen setup. Thank you to everyone involved in creating this memorable moment!

Last Monday, Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever officially opened our new Sioen Xperience Center in Ardooie.

This 3 000 m² high-tech space brings the world of Sioen together under one roof. Visitors can explore our technical textiles, protective clothing and colouring solutions through interactive displays and live demonstrations.

From multinorm protective clothing and maritime applications to colour technology, camouflage nets and bulletproof protection, the Xperience Center makes our expertise tangible.
