A humbling experience to attend and be part of the Inauguration Ceremony of the Exhibition of 'Bamboo as a Substitute for Plastic' and the China-EU-Africa Forum on Bamboo Technological Innovation and Green Industry Cooperation at Chinese Cultural Center in Brussels.
The event was hosted by the Mission of China to the EU and the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR).

My 3 model of masks.

I thought 🤔 if am going to do this might as well go all the way, enjoy and experiment. Let the creativity juice flow😁 otherwise it’s no fun😅.

For those of you spending your days making masks you know what am talking about...

You know when they talk about sweatshops and people spending hours and days doing the exact same thing.... well this experience is giving me a small/tiny glimpse and making me grateful to be free and have the choice in the things I want to make and do as well as The comfort to work in a safe, cosy and comfortable environment.

I wasn’t planning on making any masks because
A) everyone was doing it and doing a great job
B) with all the debate and controversy around it wether they were useful or not, what fabric, what shape is best, how many layer, filters, Price etc...🤯 it’s enough to drive you crazy 🤣

But in the end with so many requests from family and customers and the fact that the government has made it officially mandatory I gave in.

I decided to do simple, in fabric and style and mostly based on the advice and requirements given to me by my nurse friend 😜😙
came up with 3 types depending on the individual’s budget.

This is type B with filter pocket.

Print and design will also be available on request.

With my lack of internet connection since the confinement ( long story) been busy working hard.
Here is my first bulk order🙌

This beautiful 😍😍 flower I discovered this summer in the south... don’t have a clue what it’s called. Was hoping the vibrant colours would stay once dried, like my roses but unfortunately it’s not the case. I wonder if I should have let it dry out in open air rather than flattened between book pages.🤔
