This is a circular walk which starts from the Royal Brussels Cricket Club Ground car park. Very soon after the start we arrive at the lovely Place de Ransbeck in Ohain with its beautiful trees and pretty houses. We then continue through the lovely rolling countryside of Lasne.

Meeting point, the Royal Brussels Cricket Club ground, Chemin des Messes 39, 1380 Lasne.

LUNCH: Participants are welcome to come for lunch chez Wendy after the walk. She lives just a few metres from the Cricket ground. Please let Wendy at [email protected] know if you wish to stay for lunch, preferably a few days before the event.

Visit to the Cemetery of Laeken!

Brussels' own "Pere Lachaise" cemetery

Join a joint English/Dutch tour on Sunday, August 23 from 2 to 3:30 pm. The cemetery contains many works of art, including an original “Thinker” by Rodin.

The cemetery of Laeken is the oldest of the Brussels Region. Originally a pilgrimage place to worship Virgin Mary, it recently underwent the most important renovation of a Belgian cemetery ever, with the works completed in 2017. It is an open-air museum of silent funerary art and the resting place for many personalities that shaped the young and dynamic Brussels of the 19th century. Its underground burial galleries are over one hectare and the only example of this kind in Northern Europe.
