The days are getting shorter again and the weather colder. The ideal moment to cuddle up in the couch and chill. We love this SoftStretch set for exactly those moments.

It’s train your brain day, so we swapped our usual bra talk for a little maths. 💜

Every item in the grid stands for a whole number between 1 and 9. Can you work out what the green bralette 💚 is worth?

Answer: the bralette is worth 7 💜

Here’s how to get there, using the second column and the bottom row:
2 panties + 2 sports bras = 18
2 classic bras + 2 sports bras = 10

So:
2 panties − 2 classic bras = 8, which means panties − classic bra = 4

From the bottom row, a classic bra + a sports bra = 5. Call the value of a sports bra x. Then a classic bra is 5 − x and panties are 9 − x.

From the second row, 2 bralettes + 2 panties = 26, so a bralette + panties = 13. That makes a bralette 13 − (9 − x) = 4 + x.

Now the third row:
3 sports bras + 1 bralette = 16
3x + 4 + x = 16
4x = 12
x = 3

So: purple sports bra = 3, red classic bra = 2, panties = 6, green bralette = 7.

Today our bras hang at half mast for you Dolly! Thanks for lifting us all! 💜

Dolly Parton spent a lifetime being told she was too blonde, too much glitter, too much chest to be taken seriously. She never toned down a single inch, and she always got to the joke first:

"I was the first woman to burn my bra, it took the fire department four days to put it out."
