Today, the Rio Store story officially comes to an end. 🤍
Although I stepped away from the store a few years ago, the space itself was still part of my life. I kept looking for ways to give it a new purpose, perhaps through another project of my own.
As of today, the space has officially been sold, and I’m very happy to share that Sophistic will be opening there at the end of November with a beautiful new project. I couldn’t think of a better way for this place to begin its next chapter.
For me, it also means I can finally close this one completely and put all my focus and energy into Christina De Kerpel Fine Jewellery.
From now on, I’ll be working from my home workspace, just outside Ghent, where I’ll welcome you by appointment. My jewellery, stones and furniture will all be presented there in a more personal and intimate setting — exactly the way I want the brand to grow.
Rio Store has been such an important part of my story, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who was part of it over the years.

A chapter closed, and a new one already well underway.
