A little update on the cowl I showed you in my last post.

It’s almost finished, and because I didn’t have 10 balls in the same colour, I decided to freestyle a little and see where it takes me.

These are definitely not colours I would normally choose for myself, which actually makes this project even more fun.

And this Phildar Phil Charme yarn? So soft, fluffy and light. It gives the KabAna stitch such a different look and feel.

Sometimes you just have to stop planning and see what happens.

I’ll probably give this one away when it’s finished, but now I’m curious… which colour would you choose for me to make one for myself?

Autumn is almost here, but I’m still holding on to these last little bits of summer.

And this little summer project?
Well… it’s still very much a work in progress. I’m pretty sure it won’t be finished this year and you know what? That’s totally fine.

I’m using cotton yarn from for this one, and I have to say… I really love this yarn.

Not every project needs to be rushed. Some are simply waiting for their next season.

So… see you next summer, little project.

Crochet, sunshine & a little bit of Tricotando in .

My colleague is carrying the Kamora Clutch, while I’m enjoying my still-unnamed tote. Seeing my designs out in the real world, being worn and loved, honestly makes my maker heart happy.

And Liesbeth Bierebeeck , thank you for being my model and for giving my Kamora her moment.

A new project is on my hook…

Same KabAna stitch, but a completely different result.

This time I’m using , a soft, fluffy yarn that gives the stitch a completely different look and feel.

And yes, I’m back to my favourite 6 mm hook. Some things just feel right.

I’m experimenting with the shape and size of a new cowl for autumn, and I’m loving how this yarn transforms the texture.

Same stitch. Different yarn. Different story.

My favourite season is slowly creeping in… and I’m definitely not complaining.

It started with one little pumpkin and somehow turned into a whole pumpkin patch. All made with my KabAna stitch, in the colours that make autumn feel like autumn to me.

There’s just something about this season the colours, the textures, the change in the air… I love it all.
So yes, I’m officially ready for autumn.

OUT OF OFFICE

For the first time in 32 years, I’m back in Angola my home country and where my story began.

I’m taking some time to reconnect, be present and soak it all in. And of course, I’m hoping to find a little inspiration along the way for Tricotando, for new ideas, and for whatever comes next.

I’ll be back from 2 September, when I’ll catch up on emails and respond to your messages.

In the meantime, I’ll be sharing little moments from Angola in my Stories.
