OUT OF OFFICE

For the first time in 32 years, I’m back in Angola my home country and where my story began.

I’m taking some time to reconnect, be present and soak it all in. And of course, I’m hoping to find a little inspiration along the way for Tricotando, for new ideas, and for whatever comes next.

I’ll be back from 2 September, when I’ll catch up on emails and respond to your messages.

In the meantime, I’ll be sharing little moments from Angola in my Stories.

Same design, new yarn, different feeling entirely.

Lined with beautiful African fabric, because I love bringing together different textures and stories.
I'm also really enjoying this .

After a gentle fulling, it becomes incredibly soft, while the colourful flecks give it such a playful character.
I have a feeling I'll be using this yarn more often.

Irish tweed on the outside, African fabric on the inside. It's my favourite combination for now.

The Kabanita, revisited.
Today I made the Kabanita again using beautiful Irish Donegal tweed yarn.

One of my favourite colourways has to be Wildflower. The name alone is enough to spark the imagination.

The same design, a completely different character. That's the magic of yarn.
