Portes ouvertes à la filature Utexbel de Mouscron dans le cadre de la Quinzaine de l’économie circulaire wallonne, le 12 octobre 2024, de 10h à 16h.
Cette journée est une opportunité unique de découvrir les coulisses d'une filature en Belgique et de comprendre comment, à partir de vieux vêtements, nous redonnons vie à la matière en recréant du fil.
Des visites guidées seront organisées tout au long de la journée pour permettre aux visiteurs de plonger dans l’univers fascinant du recyclage textile et de voir concrètement les étapes du processus de transformation. C'est l'occasion d'en apprendre davantage sur les pratiques durables et circulaires qui façonnent l'industrie textile d'aujourd'hui.

Utexbel et sa filiale marocaine FTSI sont ravis de partager cette nouvelle: le projet Hamel Elasto Twist a été signé par le Ministère Marocain de l’Industrie, décernant de ce fait le label d’entreprise innovante à FTSI.
Grâce aux efforts de son équipe, à un programme poussé de formation mis au point par Utexbel et à l’investissement dans de nouvelles machines, FTSI a rejoint le cercle restreint des entreprises compétentes dans le processus Hamel.
Le processus Hamel se distingue par sa capacité à développer et industrialiser un fil technique aux caractéristiques inégalées : solidité, élasticité, et possédant des propriétés physico-chimiques spécifiques telles que l'anti-statique et la résistance au feu. Ce fil technique, qui ne pouvait jusqu'alors être produit au Maroc, a une valeur significative sur des marchés tels que l'équipement sportif, la protection individuelle et les uniformes.

Utexbel and its Moroccan subsidiary FTSI are thrilled to share this news: the Hamel Elasto Twist project has been approved by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, thereby awarding FTSI the label of an innovative company.
Through the efforts of its team, an extensive training program developed by Utexbel, and investment in new machinery, FTSI has joined the select group of companies proficient in the Hamel process.
The Hamel process is distinguished by its ability to develop and industrialize a technical wire with unparalleled characteristics: solidity, elasticity, and specific physicochemical properties such as anti-staticity and flame resistance. This technical wire, which could not previously be produced in Morocco, holds significant value in markets such as sports equipment, personal protection, and uniforms.
