Today, we welcomed Eléonore Simonet, Federal Minister of the Self-Employed, SMEs and the Middle Class, to our headquarters in Ronse, together with representatives from the City of Ronse. The visit brought different stakeholders around the table to exchange views on entrepreneurship, innovation, circularity and the challenges and opportunities shaping our industry.

We also showed how we are working to close the loop in workwear: from innovation and testing in our new laboratories to collecting end-of-life garments through our arx initiative and turning materials into new raw materials. It was also an opportunity to exchange ideas on how practical approaches to innovation and circularity can inspire other Belgian companies and sectors, and how sharing experiences can help move our industry forward.

Thank you to Minister Eléonore Simonet, Mayor of Stad Ronse Ignace Michaux, and their teams for the visit and their interest in our story.

What does the future of workwear look like? Today, we had the opportunity to show it. We welcomed Deputy Prime Minister Vincent Van Peteghem to our headquarters in Ronse for a look behind the scenes at alsico.
From our new laboratories, where we test and develop the next generation of workwear, to our arx garment collector, where end-of-life garments return to us to start their next chapter.

We also exchanged views on the challenges and opportunities facing our company and industry, and how we can keep investing, innovating and moving towards a more circular future for workwear.

Last week, our day at De Ijsmolenhoeve gave us the perfect opportunity to step away from our usual routine, strengthen our team spirit and create some great memories together.

And this time, we stayed close to home and discovered that a great team experience can be found right in our own region. 🌿
