Mijn favoriet van het moment? 
Moeilijk te kiezen, want ik heb er zoveel. Maar als ik er echt eentje moet uitpikken… dan is het deze.

De combinatie van het kaki met de camouflageprint vind ik echt geslaagd.

Dit is een uniek exemplaar. Er is maar één stuk beschikbaar, uitgevoerd in deze limited edition camouflageprint. Een item dat je dus niet zomaar opnieuw tegenkomt.

Deze donkerblauwe D-Clutch van Delvaux zat onder de krassen, was afgebleekt door de zon en had afgesleten hoeken. Ik heb deze hersteld zodat ze er weer zo goed als nieuw uitziet.

This navy blue D-Clutch from Delvaux looks like new again after I restored the sun-faded leather full of scratches to its original color. The pigment on the corners has also been restored.

For my stitching I always use natural line thread of the best quality made in France. I wax the thread by hand before stitching to give it extra protection. Everything is always stitched completely by hand.

Ik gebruik steeds natuurlijke linnen draad van de beste kwaliteit uit Frankrijk. De draad wax ik vervolgens voor extra bescherming. Alles is steeds volledig met de hand genaaid.

My leather belts are always accompanied by a certificate that guarantees it’s real vegetable tanned leather from Tuscany.

Another characteristic of this leather is the aniline dye. At the tannery the leather is soaked in a dye bath which allows the dye to pe*****te throughout the entire hide, both grain and flesh side.

Only the best quality hides are selected to be aniline dyed because it is a transparent dye that preserves the natural appearance of the leather. The grain of the leather and the natural creases remain visible this way.
