I love redoing my old designs with new knowledge and skills I’ve acquired over the past six months. 💃🏻 Here I give you my reworked coin pouch in black and red ostrich skin. The reinforcement between the two layers of leather gives it its stiffness and will last a lifetime!
I could say ostrich is one of my favourite skins to work with.

Ok, I’m in 🖤 with this black bifold I made as a prototype for a new design with a cash compartment.

This leather hasn’t been dyed through and you can see its natural colour on the inside of the pocket.

I’m starting to really like the painted edges especially when the dye matches the leather.
And as always all pockets have been skived and turned leaving no edges exposed and vulnerable. 😋😎

I have a feeling this would look amazing in some rich red or brown French goatskin! 👛

Cut from everybody’s favourite royal blue Maya. 💙 All hand stitched with contrasting red thread.❣️

No exposed edges - turned on the inside and painted on the outside, which gives this combo a durable and long-lasting finish. 😏

I’m officially out of the blue leather! 😩
