I think one of the questions I get asked most is how easy the Storyhouse is to set up. So I timed it.
35 seconds. That's it. No tools, no instructions, no fiddly bits. You open the cotton bag, the walls click together and it's ready to play.
I designed it this way on purpose - because I know what it's like to be a parent with ten minutes before school, or a grandparent wanting everything ready before the little ones arrive. It should be simple. And it is.
Your tea won't even have time to cool down.

You might be wondering: Is a dollhouse really worth it?

With all the toys competing for attention, what makes this particular play experience so special?

In my opinion, dollhouse play offers something rare and valuable — a contained world where children have complete control, endless possibilities, and room to grow in ways that might surprise you.

Watch closely and you'll see your child replaying their life, working through big feelings and confusing experiences. Practising being brave, being kind, being in charge. Making sense of the world on their own terms.

Make Your own paper garden - a lovely weekend craft to celebrate the start of May.
Step 1. Download the free template from the website
Step 2. Colour and cut out the flowers
Step 3. Stick them on toothpicks, twigs, beeswax stems, frames - anything that inspires you
Step 4. Arrange and play :)

🌿 SPRING GIVEAWAY 🌿

We're right in the heart of Spring — the garden's waking up, the light's lasting longer, and everything feels like it's stretching and growing. It felt like the perfect moment to celebrate.

I'm giving away a Small Storyhouse and our Greenhouse wallpaper to one lovely family.

The Greenhouse wallpaper has quickly become one of my favourites — there's something about it that invites little hands to start pottering and planting and imagining. And right now, with spring all around us, it feels especially fitting.

So here's my question: if your child could grow anything inside their own little greenhouse — real or completely made up — what would it be? Moonflowers? Chocolate tomatoes? A tree that grows stories?

How do you celebrate Earth Day? Would you take your little ones for a walk in the park, or go nature spotting? Would you have a picnic in the woods or tea by the river? Would you make something out of natural materials, or perhaps enjoy a book under the sound of birds?

However you decide to celebrate the beauty of nature, the best part is that you'll do it together :)

When the noise gets too loud…
Do you have days when everything seems too much? Everyone trying so hard to outperform the others, children rushed through their childhood — measured and compared before they had a chance to simply be.

This morning I woke up with the strong urge to write down what keeps me together, what I stand for and what I believe in — something to keep in front of my eyes and bring me back when the noise gets too loud.

Slow. Open-ended. Letting children lead and have the freedom to play on their own terms.
And that we need only to sit back and watch — no directions, no instructions, no guides, no buttons to press, no expectations and definitely no comparison.

Let us celebrate children every day by offering them beauty, respect, trust and unconditional love.

This kind of open-ended play is what the Triangle Storyhouse was made for — a little wooden frame that becomes whatever the children decide it is today.

Do your children like camping? Can you picture them setting up their own campsite in the garden and deciding who might come to visit?

P.S. All the storyhouses pack flat, so they're easy to take outside for a play with friends. Because the play is always more fun when there is someone to join you.

That satisfying click when everything falls into place. No tools, no instructions, no help needed.
Can you see it - the quiet focus, the little moment of pride when it all comes together?
It's about a child picking the pieces up and just knowing.
