An Ode to Papermakers:

In small towns where trees meet rivers, and the mill's stacks stand so tall
There's a group of folks with steel toes on, they've surely seen it all (and then some more)
And though they've smelled the pulp before, each day was an adventure
And though they've seen it all before, each day was a new endeavor,

Paper hearts and calloused hands, they've worked with dedication,
In paper dust and paper cuts they’ve found their true vocation.
From pulp to print, logs to rolls, they've seen it all, in this world of endless grind
They've mixed and pulped and threaded up, no papermaker left behind

When the machine groans and roars, and the pulp spills like a river, They'd chuckle loud, their spirits proud, not a complaint would ever quiver. Through hayouts, shutdowns, and late-night rounds, their bond could never sever, For they've spent their lives in this paper mill, with memories they'll cherish forever.

So here's to those who've stayed so true, behind the bars of paper's jails,
They look back on a life well-lived, recounting a long a paper trail of tales.
Though their tales are funny, they’re also real, so let's raise a glass together
To all the paper mill veterans, their legacy will last forever.

I rarely post personal content on this account, but this photo struck me. To all you dads out there, help build your daughters strong…you can play a massive role in developing their resilience and inner strength. Life is tough oftentimes and they need to be prepared. They’ll thank you for it later in life, I promise you.
