Fridays in Frae with owner/founder, Allison 🏝️

Frae? How did I come up with the name? I get asked a lot….
Frae is a mix of my late mother’s middle name and my middle name. Frances and Rae. So….Frae. After years of dreaming up this little brand, Frae just stuck. And so happy it did.
The “est. 1973” is because the picture of my mother that inspired me was taken in Acapulco in 1973, I arrived a few years later…..
Frae also just happens to mean “from” in Scottish which honors my heritage. Didn’t know that when I chose it but so happy to discover this and so fitting.
Frae’s inspiration is *from* my mother.
