Hey guys, I know it’s been a long minute since you heard from me.

Today's

BUT we are in the heat of summer, and because my place of residence is The Bahamas it gets quite hot as you can imagine. And as the temperature rises we want to dress as cool as possible. Of course the traditional route to go would be, short chinos with a light top and loafers finishing off the casual look. Now as you see I added a few extra tidbits i.e; the fedora and floral shirt for some flavor. This summer guys be safe, but most of all “BE Dapper”.

Today’s
Elegance is defined as “the quality of being graceful and stylish in appearance or manner.” While I do agree that sometimes “standing out”, can cause you to be “remembered”, I’m also of the mindset of “standing out” can turn off an audience depending on your attitude, scent, appearance, etc. What we aim to do as “dapper men” would be to invite the senses in instead of obtrusively announcing ourselves. Elegance is less about proclaiming and more about inviting, being graceful, and smooth.

Blessed Tuesday folks, I know this is late but here is today’s
Color matching can a bit hectic and but troublesome but here are a few things I have picked up that can help you;

1- Simplicity is key to sophistication, you keep it simple you keep it dapper

2- Though we in hindsight look to keep simple, do not be afraid to add in a few different shades and patterns to add to the sophistication of your outfit, a little color and or patterns won’t hurt

3- DO NOT OVERTHINK IT‼️ Sure you may want the perfect outfit but the idea of the perfect is about as real as the tooth fairy, the perfect is people-dependent. So don’t overthink the outfit, because trust me you waste time by overthinking

4- After you’ve gotten that outfit together and everything is good to go, nothing and I repeat NOTHING, is sexier than you being confident while you wear the outfit that you do. If you wear it with confidence it will the only uptick your wardrobe for the day or evening

Today’s Good afternoon gents, now I know this is something we don’t like to admit but color has a certain power to it. I was not a fan of bringing color into anything. I would keep it as close to simple as possible and, our counterparts, women have NAILED this. Now I won’t tell go crazy and just come out of your house looking like the walking rainbow but take some time to experiment and look into bringing some color into your wardrobe. For example, Reds and blues look amazing together. Take some time to investigate the color and see what works well with your complexion and I promise you this will upgrade your style from the regular greys and mundane colors.

Fit is King is a term that you should get used to quite a lot. Whether it's a $1000 a suit vs a $300 a suit, a $150 jeans vs a $30 jeans. This term will always remain true; FIT IS KING. You can have most expensive closet and most versatile, but without knowing and wearing the size for your body right now, you will give the opinion of someone who doesn't care about their appearance. So I encourage you to find the correct size that supports your body type, height, etc. It will not only help with your look but also compliment your body type.

Today's { } Women........well quite honestly mankind is like this; WE LOVE PLEASANT SCENTS. And I would argue that smelling pleasant and dressing "dapper" go hand in hand. Imagine a man dress well, nice haircut, and on point shave BUT he smells bad, the whole aforementioned is ruined by extension of his smell. You flip it and it's the same. What's the point? Men you must be pleasant in any encounter, and this helps to keep the first impression a good one. Invest in 2-3 solid colognes, some of my go to's are Dior Sauvage & Prada L'Homme just to name a few.
