Please follow the evacuation orders, there were several people in the valley here last night that didn’t follow orders to leave before the levees breached and later had to be rescued by boat/water from their homes and floating vehicles last night in Sumas, Matsqui prairie, things can get scary fast, the state of emergency in Abbotsford isn’t lifted & until then please be safe, my relations.

✨Pinch me is this real life!? Monday was a very special night for myself and my family. We dressed up in our fanciest clothes and headed in limos to to gather, share a meal and raise a glass to my incredibly hard working cousins .
The love that was in the room was absolutely beautiful, and just a testament of the monumental impact of Lynn-Marie’s commitment to her community and how much she has helped all of us individually recognize our own gifts that creator has given us along with the importance of sharing those gifts with the world.

She has not only been my mentor but also my bestest friend along this journey of entrepreneurship. She saw me when others didn’t and believed in me when I didn’t myself. I can never repay her for this support.
•
So with that I would like to congratulate my cousins Lynn-Marie and Melissa on the awards they have received and for making the impossible possible. They have created a business that not only is financially sustainable but has helped heal and bring our family together as well as the whole community.

I’m a business owner yes! But I’m a Mom first.
My priority is to slow down look at them and not my phone always. And now that they are out of school I have to be
“present in their presence”

Being a single mom is hard work!
I’m raising them watching them grow but I’m also reminded that we are growing together.
I truly don’t want to miss a thing and any parent out there can agree that the days are long but the years are so short and just like that in a blink of an eye they are grown and off discovering on their own. It’s an absolute honour to be a life giver & living in the moment with my babies is something very important to me as I grew up in foster care and without my biological parents, I would give anything to have a moment with my parents as a babe. It’s something I just don’t take for granted.

This pretty little butterfly came to say hello and if I wasn’t happily immersed in my surroundings with nature we might have missed her.
