Welp, here they are 😍 Double-knit, chunky, double-brim beanies! I love these cooler tones and they are a welcome change. I am looking forward to all of the beautiful and colourful knits I'll get to make this season!

Hey friends! Hi! How are we doing? Feeling a little heavy? Burnt out? Same, yeah. Cool. For sure. Okay.

Anywhooo I've been picking away at some fall stock and I need some opinions! I always scout fashion shows, magazines, blogs, and all that when deciding what to incorporate for my new season. Everyone is saying 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙 knits only this year and heavily textured. How do we feel about that?? I personally love it, but I know stripes, zig zags (pictured), and other fun combos are nice to have too!!

Pandemic life got you down? Same. I've been passing my time working on the Partners in Crime shawl design by and it's making the days less painful. I loved the colour scheme he chose for the scarf pictured in the pattern and thankfully I had similar enough yarn to create something close! Hopefully this beauty will be off my needles by next weekend so I can get to work on a little bit of fall stock 🧡

During my little holiday break I'm probably not going to post again before the new year, so I thought I'd check in and see what my most popular posts were this year! I'm happy to see my Faded Chevron Toque still included (a customer favourite and my most popular pattern available for sale in my shops). I'm also really happy to see more of my own face!! Last year I made a goal to include myself, the maker, in more of my content and it turns out you guys don't hate looking at my face that much! 👍💁‍♀️ As always, thank you for your endless support and love. Can't wait to see how things transform over the next year!

Okay fine, I will have a small Black Friday sale! On all orders placed TODAY ONLY you will receive 20% off! These will not be completed until after Christmas, so please keep that in mind. I also have 25% off all patterns in my Etsy and Ravelry shops until November 30th!

I'm all for shopping local, and I know a lot of big stores offer crazy deals this time of year. When funds are limited but you still want to treat yourself or your friends and family to something nice it's hard to justify shopping small (more expensive). Hopefully this helps! Also, hint hint, if you've been putting off buying some Strings & Things goodies NOW IS THE TIME as I can't guarantee what I will be doing this time next year ❤️
