We went into Obsession this past weekend not knowing exactly what to expect, and it completely caught us off guard. It doesn’t throw everything at the wall or rely on cheap gimmicks to scare you. Instead, it pulls you in early, paces itself almost perfectly, and lets this heavy, unsettling vibe hang over the whole story. It’s a slow burn nightmare that sticks in your head after it’s over.

Without giving anything away, Curry Barker has proven he is a director to watch. If this is a sign of what he has coming next, us horror fans are in for a treat. We’re already hoping for a follow up.
