Christian and I just sat down together to choose our winner for the “Wear Your Blue” giveaway 🫶🏼 We are SO thankful for every single person who liked, shared, commented, wore blue, tagged friends, and helped spread awareness for Childhood Apraxia of Speech 💙

Watching Christian close his eyes and pick a name was such a special moment for me as a mom 🥹

This one means SO much to me…

Today I picked up something incredibly special from Flags Unlimited in Barrie…
🎉 MY CUSTOM APRAXIA AWARENESS FLAG 🎉

And soon… it will be flying at the Township of Essa 🥹💙

If you’ve been here a while, you know this is close to my heart. My son has apraxia, and watching his journey has changed me in ways I can’t even explain.

🧠 What is apraxia?
It’s a motor speech disorder where the brain has trouble planning how to move the mouth to speak — even though the child knows exactly what they want to say.

đź’ˇ Fun fact:
Kids with apraxia are often MORE aware than people realize… they understand so much, even when they can’t always say it.

And let me tell you… they are some of the strongest, most determined little humans you will ever meet 💪💙

Standing there today, holding that flag… I felt so many emotions.
Grateful. Proud. Honoured. Emotional.

To be able to raise awareness…
To help other moms feel seen…
To show the world just how incredible these kids are…

It means everything.

This is more than a flag.
This is HOPE. đź’™
This is LOVE. đź’™
This is a voice for the kids still finding theirs.
