For the second year in a row, Nova Construction has stepped up to support the Pro Demo at the Antigonish Skatepark — and we can’t thank them enough!

Nova Construction is an incredible company with a long history of building roads, communities and opportunities across Atlantic Canada. But what really stands out to us is the way they give back to the communities they call home.

Their support of the Pro Demo isn’t about getting something in return. They do it because they love Antigonish and they believe in our community. That means a lot.

🛹🔥 PRO DEMO 2026 IS IN THE BOOKS! 🔥🛹

What an incredible day for Antigonish, the Antigonish Skatepark, and skateboarders across Nova Scotia!

The 2026 Pro Demo was another huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing people who came together to make it happen.

A massive THANK YOU to Maurio McCoy and Tom Asta for making the trip to Antigonish and putting on an incredible show. More importantly, thank you for bringing your positive attitudes, energy, and kindness to our community. You were incredible role models for the kids, skaters, and everyone who came out to watch.

This is what skateboarding is all about — bringing people together, pushing each other, inspiring the next generation, and creating memories that last.

🛹💥 Jade is ready to skate with her big sister! 💥🛹

Jade wanted to be out there skateboarding with her big sister, so she came into Next Level Skateboard Shop and got herself a brand-new skateboard! 🙌

And because every new skateboarder deserves a little help getting started, Jade also got a skateboard lesson to learn the basics, build some confidence, and start rolling! 🤘

We love seeing sisters skate together! ❤️🛹

Jack White is officially rolling with a brand-new complete from Next Level Skateboard Shop!

Jack picked out an awesome setup featuring a Santa Cruz Skateboards deck, KRUX TRUCKS, OJ wheels, Independent Trucks Genuine Parts bearings and hardware, and MOB GRIP Tape to tie it all together.

The best part? Jack wanted a board so he could skate with his big brother, Ashton. There's nothing better than seeing siblings share the stoke and progress together at the skatepark.

As soon as his new board was built, Jack headed straight from Next Level to the Antigonish Skatepark for a rad session. A new setup always brings a little extra confidence, and Jack was having a blast from the very first push.

Have fun out there, Jack! We can't wait to see you and Ashton shredding together all season long. 🛹🔥

Today we'd like to recognize and thank the Municipality of the County of Antigonish for their generous support of the 2026 Pro Demo at the Antigonish Skatepark.

Their commitment to recreation, youth, and community helped make it possible to bring professional skateboarders Tom Asta and Maurio McCoy to Antigonish for an incredible day of skateboarding, inspiration, and community connection.

Because of partners like the Municipality, hundreds of people were able to enjoy a free event filled with live demonstrations, meet-and-greets, autographs, and the positive energy that skateboarding brings to people of all ages.

Thank you for believing in this event and for continuing to invest in opportunities that make our community stronger. We are truly grateful for your support and look forward to building on this partnership for years to come.
