Did you know bees don't sleep in winter?

They stay awake all winter inside the hive, clustered together in a ball, eating honey, and shivering their flight muscles to generate heat.

We make a fall health check, leave them enough food and wrap them to insulate from the cold and moisture. Then, we hope for the best until March.
