Tickets are now available for the Arthur Lions Club Drive-Thru BBQ Chicken Dinner on Thursday, September 24!

For $20, you’ll get a BBQ half chicken dinner with all the fixings — including, of course, one of our famous Arthur Lions Club butter tarts. 🥧

Six-packs are available for $10 by pre-order. Email us or send us a Facebook message to reserve yours and we’ll have them ready with your dinner.

🚗 Then on September 24, just drive up to St. John Parish Centre between 4:00 and 6:30 PM and we’ll bring dinner right to your vehicle!

Best of all, the proceeds go right back into our community, helping the Arthur Lions Club support local programs, organizations and projects.

Good food. Famous butter tarts. No cooking. And a great local cause. 💛🦁

🦁 LOOKING FOR A WAY TO GET INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY?

A new Lions year is beginning — and there’s room at the table for you.

The Arthur Lions Club is a group of local people who volunteer their time, pitch in where they can, have some fun along the way, and work together to make good things happen in our community.

You don’t need a special skill. You don’t need to know a Lion. And you certainly don’t have to commit every waking hour of your life to volunteering.

What we are looking for are people who want to get involved.

Maybe you can help at a fundraiser. Maybe you have an idea for a new community project. Maybe you’d like to work with our youth programs. Maybe you have skills or connections that could help us do something we haven’t even thought of yet.

Come see what we’re about.

Our first meeting of the new Lions year is this Wednesday, September 2 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John Parish Centre in Arthur.

There’s no obligation and no pressure to join. Come to a meeting, meet us, ask questions and see whether Lions might be a good fit for you.

We can always use more hands, more ideas and more people who care about our community. ❤️
