So my latest creation was a project of love. My very good friend asked me to take her bridesmaid dress from her sisters wedding, 40 years ago, and make 2 custom aprons for her sister’s granddaughters to wear at their 40th anniversary party. Obviously I couldn’t say no 🥰 Here are the results. I included a picture of the original dress and a scrunchie she wanted too. The aprons are for a size 6 and size 4….my mannequins are a little bigger than that, but you get the picture. 😁

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. It has been an incredible busy summer and and even busier August and September. As soon as one project was done, there were 3 more to complete. I didn’t take the time to take any pictures so I’m grateful for the pictures people sent me of their events.
The first post I will make is about the Community Votes awards. My two plaques revived this week. My wonderful husband has arranged all the other awards and will add these new ones to the wall for me 🥰
Thank you again for everyone that voted for me and for all your support over the years. I couldn’t have done it without you.

This tuxedo shirt was an interesting alteration request. The customer brought two shirts. One all white tuxedo shirt, one printed Transformers. The request was to join the two shirts together so the back had the bulk of the print. It looked like a simple request, but definitely had some challenges and extra alterations to make it all fit together properly.
I’m very pleased with how it turned out.
