Art that demands to be felt. đź–¤
True furniture artistry should never be flat. It shouldn't just be something you glance at across a room—it should create a visceral reaction. It should make you want to slow down your scroll, step closer, and run your fingers across its history.
This is Adelina's Secret, a turn-of-the-century vanity desk transformed into an immersive sensory experience.
Imagine running your hand across the cool, raised relief of the nik-art 3D lace ornaments tucked beneath her desktop ledge. Feel the intricate, crisp carvings of the resin-cast floral mouldings that climb up her base, all shimmering in a hand-buffed coat of warm rose metallics. Pull open the smooth-gliding drawers to reveal a striking, hand-blended vertical gradient of metallic pinks—shifting from a deep, velvety rose at the base to a delicate whisper of soft pink at the top.
On her side panels and desktop canvas, lush botanical decoupage arrangements melt seamlessly into a smoky, fog-like black-and-raspberry vignette, creating a hauntingly beautiful patina that bridges the gap between centuries.
She stands at 30 inches tall and is officially finished, sealed for everyday durability, and ready to anchor her next space in absolute luxury. Available now for local pickup in Aylmer, Ontario or worldwide shipping. There is always more to discover. đź–¤

Capturing a moment of quiet confidence. đź–¤
When I design the store as a whole, my philosophy is always to shift the imagination. I want to challenge the thought pattern that old display cabinets have to look heavy, dusty, or dated. They can be incredibly bold, functional pieces of modern fine art that anchor a room with history and theatrical romance.
This is Lenore. Her finish is an exercise in subtle lighting and shadow. To give her flat black structure life, I hand-blended gradients of light and rich dark brown across her facade, creating the illusion of a continuous sunbeam playing across the finish.
Her lower drawer features a warm floral bouquet that fades softly into a smoky black border, accented by original hardware and hand-carved crown details highlighted in bright silver wax. Look closely at the door—I hand-sculpted a decorative scrolled moulding to fit right over the original handle for that extra layer of curated historical texture.
Pull open her arched door and her interior completely transforms into a moody sanctuary, wearing a beautiful ghost-damask pattern in shifting hues of charcoal. Slide out her drawer and the micro-details continue, with an intricate black lace transfer dressing her sides, fully conditioned and protected with premium furniture salve.
She is officially finished, sealed for everyday durability, and ready for her next chapter. Available now for local pickup in Aylmer, Ontario or worldwide shipping. There is always more to discover. đź–¤

Caught between the calm and the chaos. Meet Midnight Tempest. đź–¤
There is a profound, melancholy romance in a storm. Some pieces of furniture require precise, quiet lines, but this vintage dresser demanded an atmospheric rebellion. She has been reimagined as an abstract painting brought to life on a wooden canvas—a vision of a midnight sky fractured by a beautiful, unpredictable tempest.
Look closely at her surface and you will see the story unfold. Out of a deep, velvety charcoal background, raw emotions begin to bleed and mist. Ghostly strokes of pale light cut through the shadows, suddenly illuminated by hidden, vibrant bursts of magenta, violet, and deep, stormy teal. The fluid drips and smoky textures evoke the feeling of heavy rain streaking down a windowpane in a forgotten manor house.
To anchor all of this modern, abstract drama back to her historical roots, her original vintage brass hardware will be polished and reinstalled—adding the perfect, warm metallic glint to cut through the storm clouds.
She is complex, moody, and beautifully unapologetic. Midnight Tempest is a piece designed for a space that isn't afraid of the dark.
Currently under transformation in the atelier. Stay tuned to our page for her final reveal and hardware styling.

Rewriting the past through the eyes of an alchemist. đź–¤
When I design the store as a whole, my goal is to break the traditional thought pattern surrounding antiques. They shouldn't just sit quietly in a corner; they should challenge your imagination and bring high-end, theatrical art right into your everyday life.
This is Katerina. Born in the early 1900s as a gentleman's humidor, she has been entirely reimagined as a dark, industrial steampunk masterpiece.
Her finish is a masterclass in experimental texturing. I built her heavy, tactile surface using a grey Saltwash foundation worked with an onion mesh bag, a wire scrubby, and palette knives. From there, I layered a rich palette of black, off-white, clay, and iron oxides, dry-rubbing brass metallics and tinted glass bead gel across the peaks. Slashes of hot pink, turquoise, sage, and dark ink-blue were misted with water to create organic drips that pool in her deep craters.
Her central door houses her namesake decoupage, accented with a single faux-diamond earring and custom resin-cast gear mouldings. Pull her handle to find her original steel-metal lining still perfectly intact, ready to serve a completely new generation of collectors.
She is officially finished, sealed, and ready to rule her next manor. Available now for local pickup in Aylmer, Ontario or worldwide shipping. There is always more to discover. đź–¤

Bridging the seasons with rustic warmth and weathered architectural drama. đź–¤
When I curate pieces for the store, I am always chasing an atmosphere—that specific, quiet magic that makes a house feel like an intentional sanctuary. I want to challenge the thought pattern that beautiful seasonal styling requires a traditional fireplace mantel. A story this rich deserves to unfold on any flat surface in your home.
Imagine this proud, hand-carved wooden deer silhouette, bundled in his miniature black-and-white gingham scarf, standing watch on your entryway console table to greet you at the end of the day. Picture the soft, flickering glow of these distressed white pillars cast against a deep windowsill, or the way these metallic pumpkin petites catch the evening light on a dining room sideboard. Nestled into a bed of fresh, fragrant greenery and natural pinecones, these neutral tones carry a fluid, evolving narrative that adapts effortlessly to wherever your home needs warmth most.
To help you invite this exact, sophisticated character into your space for the changing weather ahead, I am launching a surprise flash event on the website:

The stories we rewrite when we dare to look at the past differently. đź–¤
When people see an antique from the late 1800s, they often think it has to stay exactly as it was found. But I believe true preservation means keeping the craftsmanship alive while giving the piece a completely new, daring purpose for today's world.
This is The Widow's Manuscript. In another century, she was a Victorian music cabinet designed to hold the melodies of a traditional home. Today, she has stepped across the threshold of time to become a secret, moody liquor cabinet built for a collector who loves high-end drama.
I wanted her presence to feel enduring and mysterious, cloaking her exterior in shifting ghost stripes of matte and metallic blacks that catch the light like silk. Every original carving and historic hinge has been kissed with gold wax to honor her age, while her door panel features a web of custom-designed floral and insect imagery.
But the real magic happens when you pull the drawer open to find bold silver lining, or step inside her cabinet door. The interior back wall features a full mirror to bounce candlelight across your glassware, facing a hidden interior door panel dedicated to the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe—complete with hand-painted ravens, script, and heavy baroque mouldings.
She has witnessed countless histories across three different centuries, and now she is officially finished, sealed, and patiently waiting to capture yours. Fully listed on the website now for local pickup in Aylmer, Ontario or worldwide shipping. đź–¤

Bridging the seasons with frosted metallics and rustic woodland details. đź–¤
When I curate pieces for the store, I always look for decor that holds a fluid, evolving story. I want to challenge the thought pattern that you have to pack away all your autumn decorations the second November arrives.
Tomorrow's featured vignette showcases exactly how a few intentional choices can carry your home styling effortlessly through the changing weather. By swapping traditional oranges for a palette of slate blue, metallic silver, and crisp cream pumpkins, the harvest look takes on a beautifully frosty, sophisticated character.
The wooden deer silhouette brings in the perfect touch of rustic warmth, bundled up in a miniature black-and-white buffalo check scarf. He stands proud beside a layered grove of galvanized metal evergreen trees, nestled into a bed of natural pinecones and fresh greenery against our distressed cream architectural backdrop.
Whether you want to anchor an entry foyer console, dress up a stone fireplace mantel, or bring a cozy cabin vibe to a sheltered veranda, these neutral and metallic tones adapt beautifully to any corner of your house.

Reimagining the everyday, one harvest story at a time. đź–¤
When I design for Aspects, my goal is always to disrupt the ordinary thought pattern. I want to show people that fine art doesn't have to start on a pristine store-bought canvas—sometimes, the most beautiful stories are told on the things we rescue and repurpose.
The Autumn Welcome is a perfect reflection of that philosophy. Built entirely upon a reclaimed vintage kitchen cabinet door, this mixed-media wall piece brings the rich, comforting drama of autumn right into your home.
I built her background with a deep brown base, dry-brushing warm strokes of orange and yellow in a crisscross pattern to create a weathered texture. To give her that striking, three-dimensional presence, I cast the perched birds, pumpkins, and floral elements in resin, individually detail-painting each one.
The central panel combines a rustic pumpkin decoupage with real vintage print ephemera from my workshop stash, softly veiled in a gentle damask stencil across the entire surface to create a timeless, aged patina.
Whether welcoming guests in a cozy foyer or resting alongside your favourite books, she proves that art is meant to evoke imagination and warmth. Fully sealed and available on the website now with direct shipping valuation at checkout. There is always more to discover. đź–¤
