Hello everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that the store will be closed until June 2nd.
My son is coming from Edmonton and we are going to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday.
We have not had a family gathering for over a year, and I must tell you that I am very excited.
The only sad part is that Little Aileen will not be coming this time, but she will be here in our hearts.

Take care and when I return there will be more sales to celebrate Country North's thirtieth birthday!!

Please remember that Alteration Day is Fridays only for drop off and pickups will be arranged when I call to confirm that your items are ready for pickup.
If you need your item and it is not completed, it will be the following Friday for pickup.
Please only come to the store regarding alteration on FRIDAY"S unless arrangements have been made at the time of drop off!
Thank you for adhering to these rules they have been put in place for a variety of reasons!

I also wanted to let you know that COUNTRY NORTH will be closed tomorrow May 19th, for medical reasons.
The store will reopen Wednesday at 10 until 4.

In Honour of our 30th Anniversary we are announcing a store wide sale at Country North in Bancroft!

Effective immediately, at checkout, you will draw your own discount on your purchases.
The discount ranges from 10 - 20 - 30%.

The sale will run from May 7th - May 23rd!

Welcome to a brand new day full of adventure and challenges!

We live in very busy world with appointments, meetings and deadlines.
Quilting, including all the steps that it takes to arrive at the stage of calling our project a quilt, are great therapy for many, including myself.
It is not just the sewing, it is the companionship of all our sewing friends.
It is the laughter and the sharing of stories as we built memories that will last forever!
It is the fact that we are in control and can set our own time lines.
It is the joy we feel when we can share our finished quilt!

Good Morning Everyone!

Thank you for all the lovely congratulation comments that are pouring in, I so appreciate everyone of them!

I have enjoyed serving the public for these past 30 years and wish that I could so for another 30 but we all know the chance of that happening is slim. But I have set my goal for at least another 10 years, looking ahead gives me hope and joy to keep going!

In honour of these past 30 precious years, I would like to celebrate with you!
I am going to have different sale events and prizes, as well as introducing some of the specials that I had before, like 'Wacky Wednesday' and 'Bolt of the Day' and some new ones that I would like to offer!
I will be starting classes for quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting.

All of these events and requirements will be posted on Country North page.
So keep an eye on the postings and come in and sign up for the ones that are of interest to you.

I am having a sale that will last until the next one starts.
The sale includes all fabrics on the bolt, that are $14.98 and under.
I know that in itself is a deal with the price of fabric in today's world but if you purchase any amount of fabric from the bolt that fall within this price range, I will give you an additional 30% off.
Yes, I do have a fair amount of fabric that falls within this range and who knows there may be new ones added each week!

Happy New Year!

I would like to take this opportunity to not only wish you a healthy, safe and happy New Year, but to thank you for your support and encouragement during the past year.

This year will be the thirtieth anniversary of Country North.
I would never have reached this milestone without you and I truly appreciate the opportunity of serving you again this year.

This time of year I am usually closed from Christmas until mid January, but this year I will be closed until February 3rd.
No, I am not taking a vacation, but will be doing a few things that have been neglected due to other duties and if my plans all come together the store will have a new look when I reopen.
As well I will be introducing new programs and starting up some past projects that you enjoyed and requested that I bring them back. One of the favourites was 'Wacky Wednesday'!

I am also taking this time to hopefully catch up on my alterations. My customer base has increased and over time with a variety of circumstances, I gradually kept getting further and further behind.
To those customers, I will be working on your items and will set up dates for pick up.
Please do not call because I will not be answering the phone during this time period.
I have no cell service at home and the days that I am at the store I will be busy getting things ready for reopening.

Thank you for your patience and understanding over the next month and I look forward to serving you once again!

Good Morning Everyone!

I would like to report that I am feeling some better, but not 100% yet.
I do not want to have a relapse or past this nasty bug unto any of you.
I want to continue along the path of recovery, therefore the store will remain closed for this week.

I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and thank you for your patience and understanding!

It is helping a lot to have a goal of returning to be of service to you.

I have come in contact with a Flu Bug and feel it is best that I stay at home and do not spread it around.
