Fall is such a short season but I do what I can to embrace it. 🍁🎃🍂 Adding some seasonality into your life is a great tradition for children, but also helps us to stop and consider what’s happening around us in our life at this time, in nature, in our community. Choosing to intentionally pause, embrace and enjoy the current changes around you is a great practice in being more mindful and present.

Before we move into the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, what can you do to embrace the season you’re currently in? What’s one thing you can do THIS WEEKEND to enjoy the smells, colours, and feelings that come with autumn?

We’ll be spending a day hiking, and my daughter has a favourite fall puzzle she’s already asked to pull out. And if you need some inspiration, we’ve got some great ideas at PBN! Open Tuesday-Saturday 10-5. 🎃

PS. We will be CLOSED Friday-Monday for Thanksgiving.

We’ve fully embraced the current fidget and squish trend for the fall 🎃 and holiday season 🎄 and I’m loving watching the kiddos get excited each week as we put out new ones. Stop in you need a fun birthday gift, backseat toy or you’re planning for the holidays! We get new ones on a regular basis so it’s worth a check when you’re passing by.

PS. We still have a SMALL number of squish advent calendars in the store (these are our Canadian brand - Needoh ones are sold out). I’ve been working my way down our wish list, but if you haven’t received a call yet (it’s a long list!) here’s your sign to stop in VERY soon!!
