🛍️ A day at the buying show…

Up at 7:00.
Breakfast.
Start shopping at 9:00.

We shop until 6:00, with a quick half-hour lunch somewhere in between.

Supper.
Back to the hotel around 7:00.

Then it’s time to go through all the pictures we took, review what we saw, compare our choices and start preparing orders.

Usually until about 10:00.

Everyone always says, “It must be so much fun going to the buying shows!”

And it is. ❤️

We love discovering new brands, seeing what’s coming next and imagining everything in the store.

But it’s also a very long day of work—and there are a LOT of decisions to make when you’re choosing what Battleford Boutique will look like a year from now.

Today was Day 1 of curating Summer 2027.

And we found some GOOD stuff. 👀
