Subject: Important Announcement: Cancellation of the Triple Crown of Curling
Dear Players, Coaches and Parents
We are writing to share some difficult news regarding this year’s Triple Crown of Curling. After much deliberation, the organizing committee has made the tough decision to cancel the upcoming events.
This decision was driven primarily by a low number of entries in the Under 20 Women’s division, alongside other unforeseen circumstances completely outside of the committee's control. Ultimately, the registration numbers simply do not make the event viable this season.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to our incredible sponsors and the dedicated volunteers across our three participating clubs. Your overwhelming support, enthusiasm, and hard work have been outstanding, and it is because of your commitment that we fought so hard to make this event happen.
We are incredibly disappointed to share this news, but we remain deeply committed to the growth of junior curling. We hope to welcome you all back to the ice for future events and would like to thank you all as players, coaches and parents for making the effort to participate in the Triple Crown and the growth of your Junior Women.

We will be on site

So excited to be welcoming our members & friends back to the LOLCC at an Open House/Members Event being held on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at the club, located at 301 St. Joseph Street, Tweed, ON.
We have been busy sprucing up the club and getting the ice in for the start of our curling season (which begins October 6th), as well as planning for a special 60th Anniversary Bonspiel (Oct. 18th). The Open House is an opportunity to welcome the community and share why we love the sport of curling! We will have trained instructors on hand to help you out. All you need is a clean pair of running shoes.
It is also an opportunity for current members to come in, throw some rocks, sign up for our various leagues (if you haven't done so already online) and to browse the curling equipment inventory of Quinte Curling Supply, who will be at the club during the Open House.
