Berwick Weaving Co. I like to make stuff I am fortunate enough to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The pace is slower, and there is a thriving artisanal ethic.

Feeling kind of invigorated these days. Have been making sure I weave something each day. I have a long term project in mind for it all, but I’m not entirely sure what form it will take. So, I’m *playing* and having a grand time of it.

It’s a great way to use up stash, bits and bobs of old favorites, and those special skeins that we all seem to keep “for good”.

I’ve got a new toy. It still uses fibre, but it’s a bit of a change from my usual quiet weaving and needlework.
This is a tufting gun, and with it I will use up some of my stash to make wall hangings, or rugs. Who knows what I’ll come up with? Hoping that I can eventually marry alllll of the creative works together.

Stay tuned, but don’t hold your breath because I have a feeling this might take a while to get the hang of it :-)

Lately I’ve been *playing* on the loom instead of working. Today I’m weaving this silly warp made of ladder yarn - I had a ton of it that someone had gifted me me and it turns out it’s a lot of fun to play with.
