Although faux fur is very messy and finicky to work with, I think the results are worth it 🤩

I’ll have a few sweater mittens with faux fur cuffs in all sizes at Club Lorely’s Weihnachtsmarkt this

Winter has arrived here today! It may be a brief debut, but the temperatures look pretty chilly for the next week. Are you prepared?

I have lots of new mittens under way in preparation for next Sunday’s craft market at the Loreley Club in Oshawa. I will have multiple sizes available, large, medium, youth and children’s mittens.

My class for the Society is just around the corner and my work has been featured on the Polymer Week blog!

It’s exciting to be sharing my process with polymer artists from around the world! As a member of the Society, I have enjoyed having access to tutorials, classes and interviews, as well as discovering more about what others in the polymer world are creating.

Join us in the Society or register for my class:

My class for the Polymer Week Society will soon be here…Saturday May 13!
(10 AM EDT, 4 PM CEST, 10 PM AWST)

I will share my process for creating this toadstool portal through prerecorded video with live narration. My presentation will illustrate my complete sculpting process, how I develop details through the use of colour clay and pastels, and how I handle the inevitable challenges that arise in sculpting such a project.

This class is available as part of the Society membership but nonmembers may also join live for this class. The fee for nonmembers donated to Samunnat, an organization helping empower women in Nepal who have experienced violence or abuse so that they can rebuild their lives.

My current WIP which has been on my work table for a looong time 🙄 This tree stump is the base for a spring themed portal. I’m pleased with the process used for creating the tree bark, a bit tedious but quite effective. It looks a bit odd and naked to me at this point but that is rapidly changing.

I’ve started adding details in recent weeks, some flowers and animals. I’m happy to share now that I’m confident in the direction it’s taking. 😊
