Penny got invited to her first birthday party since Covid so it's really the first one she will actually remember (due to her age). I was so happy for an excuse to sew. Haha Happy birthday to Penny's little girl-friend. 😀❤🎉🎂

One of my absolute FAVORITE things about sewing is when someone messages with a request outside of my normal sewing spectrum. Sometimes its outside of my abilities (like wedding dresses, unfortunately) and sometimes it's something I haven't done before, but I can do. That is when magic happens. Haha 😛

2 years ago I got a request to sew dress up/play capes for a mama's small business and she has created something quite huge from it. 😀 I loved the creativity she let me put into each piece. Then she branched into tooth fairy pillows and decorative heart pillows and I did a few dozen trial ones for her. They seemed to do very well for her too and she's created many more styles since adding hand beading and other glam to everything she sells. 😍

Over the last 6 months to a year I haven't gotten to expand those creative juices much or step outside my norm too much and I've missed it. We have had a LOT going on as a family and its been hard to find anytime for MLP. 😔 SO, when a girlfriend reached out and requested "cat pjs" to help keep her indoor/outdoor explorer warm when he goes out in the winter I was super excited. 🎉 It was even more fun because he's a special kitty with 1 eye, so we got to play with a pirate theme for him. Now he just needs a little warm hat with an eye patch. Don't you think? 😉 haha

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday and has a safe and happy New Year. 🥂 May 2022 bring some positivity and normalcy. May things settle and people be happy, healthy and creative. 😉

What type of pajamas are your favorite? Also, what style pajamas do you put on your kids in the winter?

Handmade goat milk soap samples are finally ready! Who knew soap takes 4-6 weeks to make!? 😲🤣🐐 Everyone is chipping in here to get them packaged and pretty.
