Some of you are already on the snow, and some are still checking opening dates every morning. Either way, the season is here, so it's time to sort out what goes on first.

Our 100% merino base layer set, top and bottoms, comes for both men and women. It keeps you warm on long, windy lift rides and breathes when you're working hard on the way down. It doesn't hold onto smells either, so it survives a whole trip without a wash.

Kids run hot, then cold, then hot again, usually all before lunch. Cold walk to school, a stuffy classroom, a playground that’s somehow both muddy and windy, then a heated car on the way home.

Everyone heads west for the famous Rockies — and quietly, Eastern Canada keeps some of the best trails in the country to itself. Five hikes across Quebec, Ontario and Nova Scotia that deserve way more attention than they get: fjord-like gorges in Charlevoix, white quartzite ridges in Killarney, Atlantic clifftops in Cape Breton, and Caribbean-blue water on the Bruce Peninsula.
