August 10th 2025 I thought I had solidified the name I was going to sell the socks under, although it never fully felt right.

I quickly learned a lot but jumped the gun on a lot of things in the process. I chemically burned the crap out of my hand the first month because I didn’t do my research, it sucked. My point being, It’s not just dye that goes on these things it’s actual time, effort and research I put in to make sure the socks you guys buy don’t just fade after a few washes (I actually still have originals that haven’t faded yet).

As I finish up at the one year mark, it’s crazy to look back on. I don’t just make socks though. I’ve been trying other things out and I’m going to keep learning new stuff. That being said, I may be changing the name of this thing in the near future. Because it won’t be just socks I’ll be making.

I soft launched the name to a few friends and it feels right. I just have to do a few things first.

I said it once, I’ll say it again, my kids are the real CEOs here. I’m just the manager of this “establishment”. Until they get old enough to decide what to do with this, I’ll keep pulling it along until they’re ready. I couldn’t ask for better bosses, truly the coolest dudes I know.

Happy one year. It feels bittersweet.

I also did crop tops as a fun little side task. I actually sold the top right corner crop top at the concert I was at. I wanted to include it because it was one of my favourites I’ve done lol. The girl who bought it was super excited when I dropped it off (I missed her at the end of the concert but dropped it off after). It’s always super cool to create something and someone be super hype on it and she was so kind 😊

Hey, I’ll be releasing what sock stock I have today at 3:00pm!! Thanks for waiting, the events that occurred on the original day I was gonna do a drop was so crazy its was actually comical but that’s just life lol.

You may have noticed the price change and yes, I’ve decided to put them up a dollar. I will still deliver without a fee but they will be a dollar more. It’s just not feasible to offer delivery at $7 a sock. I know it’s only a dollar but it truly feels crappy having to put up a price. I hope you guys can understand where I’m coming from on this one.

This price change will not affect anyone prior I agreed to supply to. This includes businesses, teachers and if you’re buying socks for sports teams. The price is still $7 and I’ll hold true to my word.

I realized I never said when I was going to do the draw. That’s my bad. Probably Friday the 31st at 6pm? Idk, it just feels right.

I know y’all don’t care, but I’m going to take a solo trip. Whatever that means. I’ll be gone for a bit. So while I have stock. Have at it!

I keep getting told I should explore Canada but I live here dude, I know what it be like. So I think I’m gonna go south for the winter (or fall)? I’m just so sick of being in one place where things keep happening the same over and over. It’s sickening. If I’m gonna work hard, it’s going to be so I can leave for a bit.

Anybody else super annoyed by the FIFA stuff that was going on in Toronto? I had a work trip out in Toronto and the tourists were fun, but damn lol. I prefer hockey, hands down.

Hey guys! I’ll be doing a price reduced stock drop with the leftover stuff I have from the CallHome music festival yesterday! Drops at 2:30!!

Super grateful to everyone who came out, asked questions, and bought something from us yesterday! I had some great friends help me set-up and run the table so I got to see The Offsprings set which was amazing.

People watching is like my favourite thing to do so I was in my element the last few days lol.

I’ll be doing deliveries later this afternoon. Hope you had a great weekend and if you missed us Friday or Saturday, don’t worry we’ll be around today!

I made a few buttons again. Here’s some backstories lol.

I got questioned about the “no one who’s ever wronged me lives a life that I envy” button and rightfully so. “Well, don’t you think that’s harsh?” And I realized through this conversation that it’s the mindset in which you see that phrase that determines what it means to you.

So I explained it a bit more. The people who have wronged me in my life don’t live lives I envy because I understand that there’s some kind of reason people react negatively to situations. Whether that be out of anger, frustration or something that has absolutely nothing to do with me. The point being that, although it sucks, I get people are still human and they’re struggling with something that sometimes doesn’t concern me at all. And I don’t envy that at all.

All I can do is not let that affect me in my own life. And I don’t envy their lives because sometimes they let these situations affect them and I’m no longer willing to do that.

Ok, time for the fun ones lol
The “Time to heal each other” button is actually from a Tupac song. Iykyk. I thought about getting this phrase tattooed, still might (I don’t have tattoos) but figured I’d make a button instead for now.

“Your peace isn’t something you gamble” is definitely something I’ve learned the hard way lol. Me and a co-worker were talking on an outreach and she told me I have to stop gambling my peace, and she’s 100% right. Every once in a while, I’ll throw my phone on airplane mode for a few hours so I can focus and get my head right, especially on weekends. Nothing is worth me and my kids peace. And I plan on standing on that statement.

I kinda explained the “It be like that sometimes” button. If you missed it, there’s a post about it lol. If you squint hard enough, you can read between the lines and see that stuff happens in life, and it be like that sometimes. Lol

Anyways, I wasn’t going to confirm this yet, but I just finished payments on the venue on Canada day. If you have my personal on Facebook then you know this already, but I’ll be at the CallHome music festival July 24 and 25! Super psyched to see Offspring!

I have some explaining to do.

I been away dealing with some health and personal issues, like people do. (Nothing crazy, just annoying). So I’ll try to be more consistent now, sorry!

Some things that need explaining:

-I released these socks earlier in the year, but quickly realized they fade super easily. I really liked them but after a few washes, I realized the dye doesn’t stick. Maybe it’s the dye I was using, idk. I don’t have the time or money to figure it out. I gave them away to a few homies but I won’t be making more. I know, sorry!

-I got approved to do a really big venue but I don’t want to release what it is until I’m sure I can pay in full for it. I been saving since May when I got approved, fingers crossed.

-This sticker, although beaten up, is my 500th sticker. That means I’m about to sell/give away my 500th pair in under a year!!

That’s insane! I have little to no words. I went from wondering if spending $500 on socks was a stupid idea to selling 500 pairs. The things selling these socks have pulled me out of has been truly a blessing and we’re extremely grateful. Whether it be gas for the week or being able to buy my oldest boy a new board to shred. This has really helped me and my family. Thank you guys.

-If you’ve made it this far, congratulations! I’m sorry for the long posts, but it be like that sometimes. (Something I learned to accept lately lol).

The people I’ve met, the conversations I’ve had, the smiles, the experiences my kids get to have because of this, this is why I do this. I couldn’t have done being a single parent without the support from you guys. Truthfully. We’re truly blessed.

Catch you somewhere, sometime (I’ll release the table set-up when I know I secured it) But for right now, I’m going to soak this win with my kids.
