Adventures in Dyeing - it almost worked

I dyed this rose pink sweater with black dye. I wanted it to be black but it ended up being this charcoal grey which I don't mind.

The shirt is 100% cotton and it did shrink in the dye bath.

The new colour highlights the fact that EVERYTHING would show through when wearing it. So I think the next step is going to be to add a liner to the bodice. I have never done that before so it should be interesting!

First time making this style of top. It is very comfortable but the scarf is quite fine and I don't think it will hold...
