We all know that spending time in nature is good for our soul…don’t let being short on time, apartment living, physical ailments get in your way.

Fabric Bag solution volunteers are talented sewists and also deeply connected with nature. We all spend time in gardens, parks, green spaces and have houseplants. Nature motivates us to keep sewing reusable upcycled fabric bags for teachers and community groups. Solutions to Textile and Plastic pollution needs our attention too!

Fabric Bag Solution volunteers don’t sew tote bags all the time. We also enjoy gardening in our yards, personal and shared community gardens and green spaces.

Anyone out there leave the leaves on their lawn and/or in their gardens? This year many of us are joining the leave the leaves movement! Gathering up leaves is the best part!

Maybe put up a sign in your green space so your neighbours understand the logic and importance of leaving the leaves.

Have a read, gather up some leaves 🍁 enjoy the fall weather. Then head back to your sewing machine:)

Travelling abroad is always an eye opener. Not all countries are eco aware. Some countries are still offering single use grocery bags, single use plastic straws, single use plastic cutlery….how do we all get on the same wavelength?
