Pat has been making and altering suits for longer than most of his customers have been wearing them. Four decades of fittings, hems, shoulder adjustments and the kind of quiet problem-solving you only get from someone who has seen every body type and every deadline.

What people notice is not the speed or the experience on its own. It is the fact that the rushed alteration on a Thursday afternoon gets the same eye as the custom build with three months of planning. Pat does not really have a B-game.
