So looks like Mikaela not feeling well this weekend was early signs of what the doctor suspects to be Hand, Foot, Mouth 😔

We will be taking the next 2 weeks off from making anything or participating in any markets and unfortunately our drop in workshop at will be once again rescheduled (new date TBA)

For right now we are just concentrating on keeping her from spreading it to the rest of the family, lol (rocking the pink gloves)

She is of course looking forward to spending some days at home and catching up on her YouTube videos, 🤣

We are heading to sunny Mexico for a long awaited vacation! It has been 6 years since Mikaela has been on a plane and her excitement is unreal!

We will be unplugging and enjoying some much needed relaxation and family time for the next week.

We look forward to connecting with everyone when we are back. Have a great week!

So Mother's Day was yesterday and while our families can be great to us on this specific day, the reality is that as a mom, most days can be brutal. The mental and emotional load that we carry is exhausting and sometimes the only thing that can give us temporary relief is TREAT YOURSELF!

Happy Mother's Day! Mikaela is my youngest, she is my mini, and honestly, the one I'm clinging too hard and wish she will never grow up. I force her to do things with me (because the older ones are teenagers and don't want to associate with me, lol) and she still happily wants to hang out with me.

is something that we have created together and I couldn't be more proud of what it has become. It is more than a little tiny craft business for us. It has been a journey of learning, being creative, as well as it's share of frustrations, but above all bonding, building and strengthening our relationship.

Thank you to all of our followers that are following along 😀 We truly hope you are enjoying what Mikaela and I bring to the world.

I am incredibly grateful to be the mom to such a happy, healthy, smart, funny, and loving little girl 😘

Happy Hurray for Buttons Day!

This special day is all about celebrating the beauty and versatility of buttons. Buttons have been used for centuries to fasten clothing, decorate accessories, and add a touch of style to everyday items. And what better way to celebrate buttons than with a fun and easy DIY project?

Our super cute fabric button hair tie kits are perfect for any craft lover, and will create 10 button hair ties that will be perfect for adding a pop of color and personality to your hair, and they're so easy to make!

All the following materials needed for this craft are included in the kit:

Fabric Squares
Button Fronts/Shells
Button Wire Backs
Elastic Hair Ties
Silicone Tool, Pusher and Template

You just need a pen/marker and a pair of scissors

Instructions:

Place the template on top of the fabric and trace around the outer part of the template

Cut out the fabric circle you just traced

Place the fabric circle face down on top of the silicone tool. Push the button shell face down into the fabric and silicone tool

Tuck all the excess fabric into the button shell as tightly as possible

Place the button back onto the button shell, making sure the fabric is sandwiched between the two pieces.

Use your fingers and Pusher to press down on the button back and make sure it snaps into place.

Loop your hair elastic through the wire back

And there you have it!!! Super cute and easy fabric button hair tie kits that are perfect for celebrating Hurray for Buttons Day. These fun accessories also make great gifts for friends and family!

When fabric scraps and beaded bracelets come together to make beautiful earrings!

We had such an amazing time making these style earrings while collaborating on a special collection with and (check them out to see the beautiful Athena Collection which features a cotton pouch created by S&S Sewing, paired with a matching crystal bracelet handmade by Mia’s Boutique and a matching pair of fabric button and beaded earrings that we created using the fabric from the pouch and beads from the bracelet)

This is a new style for us and we couldn't stop making them, lol
