By now I am sure all of you are aware of the devastating wildfires in the Okanagan region of BC.

I was in the North Okanagan when the tragic Bald Range Wildfire broke out in Summerland on Friday night and I was scheduled to be vending at a market in downtown Summerland tomorrow. Yesterday I safely returned home to Calgary, but my heart remains in the Okanagan with those affected by this fire.

For most of my life, I have spent summers in the Okanagan, between OK Falls and Summerland specifically. I have family currently displaced by this fire and to see a place that I love so much, that holds so many cherished memories for me, under threat of wildfire is heart breaking.

I have decided that for the remainder of August, a portion of all sales will be donated to wildfire relief efforts for the Bald Range Wildfire. At this time, it is undecided on which organization I will be giving to, but I am in communication with friends and loved ones in the area and I will be choosing an organization where I know our funds will be donated to the community directly.

So please, if you have been thinking of making a purchase, if you have a cart full of goodies and are waiting for the right time to complete the order, now IS that time. Your money will directly help those affected by this tragic fire.

I am not even sure that I have words to adequately express my gratitude.

Back home and already reminiscing about my 3rd Summer Love 🌻

Despite the smoke and the fires, the show still went on and it was, as it always is, pure magic.

A huge thank you to the team ccbloomlovemarkets and Candice | Farmer Florist for making the day as beautiful as it possibly could be and for welcoming me back to your gorgeous property.

To every single guest that showed up. Let me tell you, you REALLY showed up. My heart is so full. Thank you for every laugh, for every purchase, for every conversation, I am so grateful for your support.

My fellow vendors, this event would not be what it is without you. The community for Summer Love is like nothing I have ever experienced and I appreciate every single one of you for your kindness. Special thanks to my pals Ghostly Garlic for covering my booth while I ran to the hotel to get more stock 🤣🙈
