You may have noticed we’ve been a little quiet around here this past year… and that’s because our family and our bees have been busy settling into our new home just outside the city 🏡🌿. Thank you so much for your patience, love, and continued support during this exciting season of change ❤️

Over the magic of Christmas markets ✨, every jar of honey 🍯, beeswax wrap, bar of soap 🧼, candle 🕯️, and handmade good you’ve welcomed into your homes has meant more than I can say—truly grateful 🙌💛

🐝🌼 Happy World Bee Day 2025 from Alberta, Canada! 🌼🐝

Today, we celebrate the tiny heroes who “BEE inspired by nature to nourish us all”! 🌿🍯

As a proud Alberta beekeeper, I’m buzzing with gratitude for these amazing pollinators that keep our flowers blooming, our crops thriving, and our tables sweetened. From the wild prairies to your backyard garden, bees are nature’s little miracle workers—working hard so we can enjoy fresh fruits, veggies, and that golden honey we all love.
3 Fun Facts – DID YOU KNOW?

✨Alberta is a bee powerhouse, home to over 315,000 managed honey bee colonies—more than 40% of all honey bees in Canada.

✨Alberta also boasts incredible diversity in native bees, with at least 322 native species identified so far—and likely 30–50 more yet to be discovered.

✨Bees are essential to Alberta’s agriculture: pollinators are responsible for the reproduction of more than 75% of food crops worldwide, including many grown right here in Alberta.

Let’s all take a moment this month to:
🌸 Plant native flowers
🌞 Support local beekeepers
🚫 Learn about and avoid harmful pesticides
🐝 And most importantly, appreciate the buzz-worthy magic of bees!
