The Iron Heart IHSH-422-BRN 17oz Cotton Duck CPO Shirt is already proving to be one of the standout restocks of the season.
Yesterday, the larger sizes sold out almost immediately on Iron Heart’s website, but thankfully we still have stock available.
Cut from a rugged 17oz Japanese cotton duck, this western-style CPO is built to take years of hard wear. The heavyweight fabric starts out stiff and substantial before gradually softening and developing incredible character, making it one of our favourite pieces heading into the fall and winter months. With tremendous fading potential, every crease, abrasion, and day of wear will leave its mark, creating a garment that’s uniquely yours.
Finished with Iron Heart’s signature western styling, oversized copper snaps, and practical side hand warmer pockets, the CPO cut offers a little more body length than their standard western shirts, making it equally at home as a heavyweight overshirt or lightweight jacket.
If you’ve had your eye on this one, now is the time. Stock is already disappearing, and we’re fortunate to still have a healthy selection available.

Two heavyweight Iron Heart favourites are returning this Wednesday, August 5th at 9:00 AM MST.

The IHSH-409-IB 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt makes its long-awaited return, crafted from Iron Heart’s legendary 19oz Japanese selvedge denim. Woven with an indigo rope-dyed warp and sulphur-dyed black weft, it offers a deep, inky appearance that develops dramatic, high-contrast fades with years of wear. Finished with oversized copper snaps, western styling, and twill-lined hand warmer pockets, it’s one of Iron Heart’s most sought-after overshirts.

Joining it is the IHSH-422-BRN 17oz Cotton Duck CPO Shirt in Brown. Cut from an incredibly durable 17oz Japanese cotton duck, this rugged CPO is designed to soften, fade, and develop character the harder it’s worn. Complete with oversized copper snaps, western flap pockets, side hand warmer pockets, and Iron Heart’s signature meticulous construction, it’s a functional workwear staple built to last a lifetime.

Whether you’re after the unmistakable fade potential of the 19oz selvedge denim or the rugged character of heavyweight cotton duck, these are two of Iron Heart’s finest CPO shirts.

Releasing Wednesday, August 5th at 9:00 AM MST.

Omoto’s new Type 2 is crafted from their proprietary 13.5oz Japanese selvedge denim, a fabric designed to reproduce the excellent texture and versatile weight of vintage selvedge denim. However, it has been overhauled with a Japanese bincho-tan white charcoal overdye treatment that stiffens and darkens the denim, giving it a beautiful inky blue/black hue with tons and tons of depth, showcasing different colours over different sections of the fabric. Through wash and wear the charcoal overdye will give way to the indigo undertones bit by bit, and become something outstanding.

This denim is woven on a vintage 1950s Sakamoto shuttle loom, which has been modified to reduce the tension of the warp yarns, ensuring that the warp is loosely woven, with little tension to produce texture and give the jeans the classic feel and look of vintage denim. A blend of two different types of long-staple cotton yarns are used to produce this fabric, which is made up of 65% American Memphis cotton, chosen for its unique rigidity and supple texture, and 35% Zimbabwean cotton, for a balance of softness and strength. Each finished pair of Omoto jeans represents the culmination of the skill and passion of the craftspeople of Japan’s Sanbi region.

Cut in a classic Type 2 jacket style, this piece features a loose body with a shorter body length, for a traditional vintage workwear silhouette. Features a double knife-pleated chest with dual flap-closure chest pockets, hidden handwarmer pockets, size adjuster tabs, and is finished with copper rivets, a nickle buckle, and enamel-coated buttons. Due to the charcoal overdye treatment the leather patch and all of the hardware has been blackened.

Iron Heart’s relaxed-tapered cut jeans, made from 16oz slubby selvedge denim. The most heavily textured denim in the Iron Heart lineup, this 16oz slubby selvedge is woven slowly and loosely (think off-the-scale loom-chatter!), resulting in a more irregular twill and an uneven fabric hand on both the face and reverse. Compared to other heavyweight weaves, this is a softer, more breathable denim which brims with distinctive character.

To create this darkened variation, a pair of standard IH-888S-SLB jeans is steeped in black dye using a direct dyeing process. This stains the indigo denim and stitching, with the added bonus of removing all shrinkage from the fabric. A unique middle ground between traditional indigo and black denims, over time the fabric will gradually fade with blue-tinged hues in high-wear areas.

Blending the rugged character of traditional workwear with the breathability needed for warmer weather, this shirt is woven from a premium cotton and linen chambray that offers a soft hand, subtle texture, and plenty of airflow. The indigo chambray will continue to soften and develop character over time, creating the kind of patina UES has become renowned for.

Finished with classic workwear detailing and the meticulous construction expected from one of Japan’s finest heritage manufacturers, this is an easy everyday shirt that’s equally at home layered or worn on its own.

The Bristol is Viberg’s approach to the classic penny loafer, built with an apron stitched toe and a split toe seam for a classic, versatile loafer that is easy to wear despite the structured nature of the construction. These loafers can easily be dressed up for the occassion, but also wear excellently as a casual shoe.

Constructed on Viberg’s 1905 last with a plain toe, this loafer offers a refined almond-shaped profile with balanced proportions. The leather outsole and natural flat welt construction reinforce the structured nature to balance the soft, supple suede upper.

C.F. Stead’s Janus calf suede is a soft, fine suede with a subtle nap, making it a top choice for Viberg’s suede makeups. It gives footwear a relaxed structure, but is sure to gain character through wear. Stead calls this colour Bison; a cool, lighter brown that shows a variety of tan and brown hues.

Exclusive to Brooklyn Clothing, the Prequel Classic Dobby Check Open Collar Shirt has arrived in Blue.
Produced entirely in Japan, this limited release is built around a fabric that can’t be found anywhere else. Woven from a 7.5oz Japanese dobby check, it features a beautifully textured surface and an effortless open collar silhouette, finished with pearlescent buttons and a double-layered placket for a refined take on classic workwear.
What truly sets this shirt apart is the story behind the fabric. Each pattern has been meticulously recreated from textile swatch books discovered more than 100 years after they were originally produced, preserving authentic woven designs from the early 1900s. Through exceptional Japanese craftsmanship, these century-old textiles have been faithfully brought back to life, creating a garment that feels as historic as it does contemporary.
Made exclusively for Brooklyn Clothing and available in limited quantities. Once these are gone, they’re gone.

For the first time in over a decade, Iron Heart is offering another run of their baker pants. This style draws inspiration from the military fatigue/utility pants worn by U.S. troops in the 1950s, offering a wider, more relaxed fit and higher rise. In Japan, these are referred to as “baker” pants, as their defining square patch pockets resemble loaves of bread.

The 4oz cloth used to construct this model is blended from 75% cotton and 25% “bright” nylon, selected for the shinier appearance it offers. This results in a lightweight, breathable, and durable pair of pants, ideal for those active days during the warmer seasons. Other key features include flap-down rear pockets with secure button fastenings, a brass zipper fly, and rear waist cinches — allowing the fit to be adjusted without a belt.

Like so many of their offerings, UES’ Wabash Work Shirt is a heavy nod to the workwear staples of the 1900’s, featuring vintage detailing, bulletproof heritage construction, and a seriosuly hard-wearing fabric that will hold up excellently. The 100% cotton selvedge wabash is woven and sewn in Japan and has been given a deep indigo dye that will fade with time. The bleached wabash pattern has been applied using discharge printing, so you can be sure it will remain prominent for the lifetime of the garment.

Wabash is one of the most storied amongst workwear fabrics, and also one of the very best. Wabash is named after the Indigenous Wabash Confederacy, who were known for customizing denim workwear and trading them back to white labourers during colonization. Their dyed patterns became true workwear staples, and now the wabash pattern is forever recognizable as a piece of Americana with a very detailed history.
