This was a pretty cool one for me.

My buddy Danijel Slisko asked if I wanted to be featured in the latest issue of Brand Magazine, and getting interviewed gave me a chance to connect a few dots I don’t normally stop to think about.

We talked about getting into the digital world back in 1999, DJing, starting Shortline, The Calgary Sessions, and why I’ve always approached marketing a little differently.

Storytelling seems to be the thread through all of it. I don’t think I really understood that until the last few years.

And lately, another word keeps coming up more and more: legacy.

The idea that the stories we capture today can become something people, families and businesses carry with them long after the project is finished.

Thanks to Danijel and the Brand Magazine team for giving me the space to talk about all of it.

🎶 Live on Stage: Turkey & Pistols 🎶

We’re kicking off the live music at the Day of the Horse Festival with some serious local flavour.

Turkey & Pistols will be taking the stage and setting the tone for an afternoon and evening packed with live music, cold drinks, horses, and that unmistakable Bragg Creek atmosphere. 🎸🐎

If you’ve caught Turkey & Pistols around town before, you already know—this is the kind of music that makes you grab a drink, find a spot near the stage and stay awhile.

🍺 The Beer Garden opens at 3 PM, so the timing couldn’t be better. Grab a cold one, settle in and let Turkey & Pistols get the party started.
