Happy Birthday to the spooky legend that is Winona Ryder!

Some may know her as Lydia Deetz, Mina Murray, & Joyce Byers but she's one of the icons of the halloween season.

DYK: While filming Bram Stoker's Dracula, an actual Romanian priest officiated the on-screen wedding between Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves's characters . Neither spoke the language, she jokingly notes they might actually be married.

In late 1999, she started her own music company, “Roustabout Studios”.

We are entering the last week of October and the week of Halloween... sorry, Saturween. It only happens once every 300 years or something like that so it's a big deal. 🎃

The store hours are extending right up until the day before so don't miss out on the midnight madness because never know what we might have in store.

We have a few more Halloween Days partnerships with CMC, Tops Pizza, and Olympic Cards & Games. The the last 2 days will be anything we have remaining from the month as well as some very limited special items that might just appear at anytime.

This is also the last week for Pumpkin Smashers and we will conclude the same way we began with Halloween Décor on sale both Halloween Eve and Halloween Day. With still chances to score deals on wigs, legwear, temporary tattoos, and masquerade masks leading to the weekend.

We look forward to helping you create the most Spooktacular Halloween this year.

It might be Halloween and this isn't the time that one would think about supporting the Calgary Food Bank but all year is the best time here at the Costume Shoppe.

We have a donation box that you can drop non-perishable food items into at any time.
Also we are accepting $1 donations at the till that we will match up to $500 so even if you forget to bring something in there are other ways to help.
