Jean Michel took extraordinary photographs of natural settings around the globe having visited 105 countries to date. His inspiration comes from our planet’s beauty as an infinite source of colors and patterns surrounding us, reshaped by light and reflections that are often over looked. Following in the footsteps of impressionist art, he has created astonishing digital images that are normally onl

y seen on canvas. His work has been exhibited extensively in various countries such as France, Canada, China, Bolivia and Venezuela. His images have been published in 2 books: Voyage Numérique au Venezuela (2002) and Impressions Numériques (2005). Recently, he has taken his photos from Canada’s Lake O'Hara, Marly and Paris Boulogne in France, Javanese Volcanoes in Indonesia, the Dunes in Namibia in Africa (just to name a few), and has turned them into dazzling motifs for the fashion industry. Printed on silk, these beautiful images are becoming a name in the wearable abstract art field. In 2015 he started his company “By Jean Michel” and began producing silk scarves and leggings with his designs. In 2016 he was featured in Fashion Magazine- Edition Spring, and Avenue and Where magazines. Most recently he has enjoyed enormous interest from the Canadian press with interviews and articles by The Calgary Herald, Global News, Bloomberg Canada, and CBC among others.
