July 26, 2026 Mount Fullerton 2728 m. Summit views. Start from Little Elbow parking lot. Long hike till base of the mountain. Moving up through rock drainage. Moderate scramble on NE ridge. Alberta. Canada.

July 26, 2026. 25,5 km.10 hours. NE ridge route. Start from Little Elbow parking lot. Hiked by Little Elbow Trail till sign Nihahi Creek, on the right side, move in. I was using Gaia GPS. Hiking in forest with gaining elevation. Next, I hiked straight forward by Nihahi Creek , then made left turn, to find rock gully/drainage. Moved up till open slope, and moved to NE ridge choosing the best way, moderate scramble. The crux probably big rocks on the way, watch your steps carefully and long boring distance to reach the base of the mountain.

June 21, 2026. 26 km. 11 hours Start from Little Elbow Parking lot, followed Gaia GPS. Moderate walk/scramble on the ridge with gaining and loosing elevation, exposure in places, with couple difficult moves. For safety attempt must be done in dry conditions. May 23, 2026.. Turtle Mount 2210 m. Height gain 944 m. 7,5 km. 6 hours. Hiking to North Peak. Easy scramble, navigation through rocks terrain to South Peak. Better do it in free snow conditions to see all opened holes. Alberta. Canada 🇨🇦

May 23, 2026. 7,5 km. 6 hours. From Highway 3, turn to Town Blaimore, then to 15 Ave to find closest parking to begin of the trail. North Peak: hiking with elevation gain. Moving through forest by steep terrain in places. Poles helps. Microspikes, if there's snow. South Peak: easy scramble, hiking. Navigation through rocks terrain, the hazards: crevasses and holes. I recommend do it in snow free conditions. Historical information: in 1903 massive rocks slide killed about 90 residents of town of Frank.

February 15, 2026. 10,4 km. 12 hours. Disclosure: mount Nestor winter ascend must be considered with avalanche hazards, check weather conditions before, must have knowledge training and right gear, to proceed it safely or leave it till free snow conditions. In my day, I was able to summit it as mountaineering actions, with minimal risk. With coming snow fall, this area will be considered as avalanche zona, please don't attempt. Wait till summer , thanks. Left car on Spray Road, with Mount Buller behind. Short bushwhacking straight to the lake and crossed it. Ice is strong. I was using Gaia GPS. Move up on snow rocks terrain. Snowshoes will help, axe, crampons needs to use on snow slope. Acsending ridge has many cornices, must be cautious, moderate scramble in snow conditions to reach true summit. Strong cold wind on the top. Moving back down slowly on snow slope, axe/crampons in use. Then rock scree and snow, just found my previous track. Last hour crossed Lake in darkness using head lamp. The end.
