When the insomnia gets bad, just write away the night 🌙 🙃 but anyways there's a new article on UnlikelyMorbid - rejection sensitivity dysohoria is a common problem among the traumatized and neurodiverse, after being mistreated our brains automatically go right to hating ourselves and over thinking - the real problem is, how do we help our loved ones who go through it? How do we help the people we love, understand us?

We talk about it!

So head on over to https://www.unlikelymorbid.ca/post/rejection-sensitivity-dysphoria and read about why some people may seem more sensitive than others 💗🌙

Recovery isn't linear. Sometimes we step forward and take two steps back, but its about wanting to keep stepping not about the steps that went back in the first place.

This.

I've been told don't listen to the s**t you hear from the people, only listen to what the government says - but look what that did. Look at what listening to the republican government in America did, because some people believed if you got pregnant by accident, you need to go through the pregnancy.

Ive tried to explain that the people affected aren't just the people like me, the 20 year Olds who's birth control doesn't always work or the 1% of people that tried to be safe and it didn't work - this affects children, parents, whole families, and people still believe that every pregnancy should be seen through.

I will never judge someone for either choice when it comes to abortion, but I will judge someone when they're claiming that we shouldn't have a choice due to religion or politics or someone else's personal beliefs. And I won't shut up about it.

I suddenly remember that the way people communicate with me needs to be calmly, the minute I think you're upset with me I start trying to fix the problem as I head into a breakdown.

If youre upset with an autistic, you need to use Healthy communication tools such as saying "hey I would really like some extra support right now" instead of "whatever man."

Autistic people have a hard enough time reading social cues, but its even worse when the other person is clearly upset and isn't actually trying to explain. Autistic are very understanding, but we also get attached to our rituals; for example, in my head after you fight with someone you always say I love you, even if it was small, its just a reminder that no matter what even in the disagreements that we are still in it.

Autistic people have a hard time regulating emotions and communication, so when they do both and are met with aggression, it discourages the positive behaviors in the future. It's a fine line that people jump on thinking it won't break.

YES

This is what happens when you speak out for the RIGHT reasons - she was experiencing discrimination and she simply just asked of them to do better, she didn't want anything else.

I have so much respect for her and what she did, along with her friend for encouraging her. It's not easy to speak up about ableism that we all experience daily, whether it's a visual disability or an invisible one.

When I had a service dog for my autism and I went to get lunch at the pizza place near Doyle, I was refused entry due to my service animal while there was someone with a puppy in their jacket in the corner - the problem wasn't the dog, in their eyes, it was my disability. I posted about it and called the accessibility board and they did do better from that moment on, especially once I had a respectful discussion with the owner of the store the next day without the problem employee.

Ablism is something I experience every day, and I am grateful for the angel that stepped up the same way I wouldve, and tried to when that happened to me. I'm grateful that they didn't do it for money or apologies, they simply wanted them to do better.

So by posting this, I say the same thing - do better.

Stop saying sorry, and do better - work towards the change we want to see in the world, otherwise we are gonna be living in hell for the rest of our lives.

Drug use is a dangerous thing - however, by practicing harm reduction we can help decrease the risk involved with these activities. Many countries, including Canada, have been incorporating safe injection sites into the communities to help reduce the risk of overdose; but how do we employ those practices in places that haven't created a center yet?
Simple, we research; and with this article on Safely Using Drugs, we discuss important ways to help reduce the levels of harm we encounter.

Sometimes addiction has already taken route, and recovery isn't linear; so make sure you're practicing skills to help keep you safe and alive!

Often times we cannot stop a person from using substances, we can teach them harm reduction and other methods of staying safe

I am so excited. UnlikelyMorbid has been a large project; I wanted to do something that was unique and spoke to people, and I wanted to create meaningful change. I wanted to be able to create things and give others a chance too.

As a lot of people know, I'm Autistic. Over the years, I've had a lot of regression in skills I worked really hard to have - I was put in a lot of complex experiences. I started doing Onlyfans first, I honestly loved how much art there was behind bo***ir photoshoots; but I quickly realized online is not a safe space for people with disabilities or mental illnesses.

After completing the academic side of my police foundations course, I came up with a plan; I came up with UnlikelyMorbid.

I wanted to offer business services to people who want to focus on creating, provide education and informational courses, free to read articles, and original products.

The next goal was to work with social workers to create a safe center for s*x workers to get assistance whether its a safe place to work, booking services to ensure customers are safe and records are kept, safety courses, security on site to prevent hazards in s*x work, and easy access to nurses - s*x work is not illegal in Canada, and therefor they deserve the same right to protection. I know this will take time but I believe that with the proper support, UnlikelyMorbid could be something that saves lives, prevents trafficking, provides safety and resources, and even living situations.

I'm excited to be at the point where I can finally start working towards that goal. So if you're interested in supporting that goal than head to UnlikelyMorbid.ca - and you can support us through volunteer positions and employment opportunities (commission work only, contact for more details)

I hope you'll choose to support us in our goal of making a positive environment for people to learn and grow ❤️ please like and share - and comment designs you'd want to see on products and maybe you'll see it added to the store soon 🥰
