We are currently seeking an Embroidery Assistant who is looking for an exciting, entry level opportunity, to join our team.
Responsibilities
Accurately pick, process and package orders, according to purchase order instructions.
Support day-to-day operations of garment processing, including folding, steaming, trimming and repackaging.
Input design and colour selections in to computer, while applying a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Provide outstanding customer service through email, phone and in-person interactions.
Capability to trouble shoot design issues.
Provide support on other duties as required, including, but not limited to light cleaning of shop, preparing garment backing supplies for orders, etc.
Maintains a clean, organized work space and adheres to safe work practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
No experience necessary, will happily train and support candidates with an enthusiastic and dedicated attitude.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Attention to details and accuracy are required for this role.
Proven ability to keep up with a fast paced environment, with changing daily requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with minimal supervision.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods of time. This role also involves bending and twisting.
Ability to work overtime, as required.
Outstanding organizational skills and a positive attitude are a must.
Remuneration and Hours
• This exciting opportunity starts at minimum wage, with the opportunity for merit increases as experience is gained.
• This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with some weekend overtime required during peak periods of the year.
